Short version: we don't process returns or refunds, because we don't sell anything. Here's who actually does, and how to start one.
American Wellness Daily is an independent editorial and reporting site, not a store. We don't take payment for any product, and we have no ability to process a return, issue a refund, or cancel an order — because we were never the seller in the first place. When one of our reports links you to buy something, you're completing that purchase directly with Amazon or another authorized retailer, under that retailer's own return policy.
Return windows, restocking fees (if any), condition requirements, and refund timelines are all set by the retailer you bought from, not by us — and they can differ by product and by seller, even for two items that look similar. Amazon, for example, publishes its own return policy and timelines directly on each product listing and in your Amazon order history; that is the accurate, current source, not anything stated on our site.
Go to your order history on the retailer's site (for Amazon purchases, Amazon's own "Your Orders" page), find the item, and follow the return or refund process shown there. If you bought directly from a manufacturer's own website rather than through Amazon, that manufacturer's own refund policy and contact channel — usually listed on their site's checkout or policy pages — governs the return, and we'd encourage checking that policy before you buy if it isn't clearly disclosed. In several of our Red Flag reports, an unclear or inconsistently-described refund policy is itself one of the concerns we flag, precisely for this reason.
We're not able to intervene in a billing or refund dispute between you and a retailer or manufacturer, since we're not a party to that transaction. If a seller isn't honoring its own stated policy, your recourse generally runs through the payment method you used (a card issuer's dispute process), the retailer's own customer service or escalation path, or, for a documented pattern of the same complaint, an organization like the Better Business Bureau or your state's consumer-protection office.
